My rates are consistent with those recommended by the BC Psychological Association and are as follows:
Individual, couple and family psychotherapy
- $200.00 (50 minute session)
- $400.00 (100 minute session)
- $75 to $90 (depending on group size)
I accept payment for services by cash, cheque, e-transfer (to [email protected]) or direct payment for select insurance companies. Unless prior arrangements are made, payment is requested at the end of each appointment. Although MSP does not cover psychological treatment, some individuals have funding for psychological services through their extended health care benefits. Policies should be consulted directly, as they vary regarding the amount of coverage provided. If applicable, you may also be able to claim psychological services as a medical expense for income tax purposes.
Funding for my services is also available through some Employee Assistance Programs (e.g., Morneau Shepell and LifeWorks). I am also registered to provide therapy services to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Vancouver Police Department (VPD) and Public Safety Canada.
As a courtesy to other patients and myself, cancellation must be done at least 48 hours before a scheduled appointment otherwise the rate for the full session will be charged. If the session can be filled from my wait list, then the cancellation fee will be waived.
